The 8 Hotties of Hanukkah: Jesse Eisenberg

To celebrate Hanukkah and my love of Jewish men, I thought it would be fun to bring you a sexy Jew every night at sundown in honor of each day of Hanukkah. A big thank you goes out to Fuck Yeah, Jewish Men for bringing some men to my attention who I had no idea were Jewish. For this first night of the "Festival of Lights," I chose perhaps the most notorious young Jew in Hollywood: Jesse Eisenberg. Although not traditionally good looking, there's a lot to be said about his quick wit and charming personality (not to mention his bromance with Andy Garfield). We love him in these parts and wouldn't mind if he took a chance on this Gentile right here. Mazel tov!

"most notorious young Jew in Hollywood"

I don't know what that means, but I sure hope it doesn't mean that out of all the young Jewish male actors in Hollywood (Logan Lerman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Anton Yelchin, Ezra Miller, etc. there seem to be more by the day), Eisenberger somehow stands above them all. That would be very, very, wrong on multiple levels.

All I meant is that when most people and/or I think of young Jews in Hollywood, Eisenberg is the first guy to come to mind. It wasn't a statement about quality. I love all my Jews equally!

If that's what "most people" allegedly think, then "most people" are racist. Eisenberg has no more Jewish ancestry than the actors I mentioned, he isn't more religious than most of them, and his grandfathers weren't Holocaust survivors (as Logan Lerman's were/are), not that the last part should really matter. In an era where most young American male dramatic actors are either Jewish or at least part Jewish, this line of thinking is pretty absurd.

Okay, take out the "most people" part. When I think of young Jews in Hollywood, I immediately think of him. It's an opinion, not a statement on how Jewish he is in comparison to other Jewish actors. Take a chill pill. I wasn't trying to make any point.
