Here We Go Again

My favorite celebrity couple that isn't actually a couple reunited the other night at the Teen Choice Awards. That's all I got--I'm just in awe of how sexy they are together.

What Does My Banner and Twitter Have in Common?

...Er, nothing. Other than the fact that I wanted to talk about both of them and this seemed like the most appropriate time.

First of all, I finally got a Twitter. Rejoice! I was hesitant at first, but Dave coerced me into getting one and I did. I've added as many people as I could think of, but if I'm forgetting you, please let me know. And make sure to add me as a friend (or follow me or whatever the fuck they call it on this site)!

Secondly, in case anyone noticed, I changed my banner a week or two ago. Isn't it pretty? Well, I think so and that's all that counts. I bet you're curious, though, why I put Zac and Leighton together in my banner. Here's the truth: I have no real reason. I just thought they looked awfully purty next to each other and made a banner. But wouldn't they be great in a movie together? Supposedly, they were originally set to star in that re-imagining of Beauty and the Beast that Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgens are now supposed to do. What a shame--they would have been absolutely perfect for that.

Oh My God, Oh My God, Oh My God You Guys! Only 2 Days Until High School Musical 3: Senior Year!

Can you believe that we've finally gotten to this point? It seems like forever since I first started anticipating the third installment of High School Musical and know it's soooo close. To tide you over until Friday, here's a hilarious interview between my number one dream couple, Zac Efron and La Tisdale. If nothing else, it's more proof that these two are perfect for each other. Why can't they see that?

Choice Quips:

1. La Tisdale: "This is so confusing!"
2. Zac: "I have a great random question: Why are there lockers behind us? We're in a hotel room."
3. Zac: "And you got a lot better, 'cause in the first movie you were...alright."
La Tisdale: "Thanks. Yeah, you did too."
4. Zac: "Literally, in the first movie, it was like set up a camera, we've got five minutes to get this. Dance. Now we have actual setups...and lighting."
La Tisdale: "Lighting?"
Zac: "I'm dead serious. We didn't necessarily have that in the first two. Sometimes, he's just like, 'Where's the sun?'"
5. La Tisdale: "But I do love the basketball number, because you're all sweaty and everything."
Zac: "Thanks, Ashley"
La Tisdale: "No, because you look so good. You look like you're really playing basketball."
6. La Tisdale: "I realized the last couple of the days that I get really nervous around you...I actually drink a lot of water; that calms my nerves."
Zac: "Yeah, 'cause you're peeing all the time. You pee out the nerves."

Who knew that Zac Efron was such a sarcastic bastard? It makes me love him more. And La Tisdale is as fun and down to earth as ever. I really want her to be my BFF.

Come On, Just Do It Already!

In my never ending quest to see true love rule the day, let me just say that La Tisdale and Zac Efron both need to dump their boring significant others and start dating each other. Ignore the fact that Zac's hair is a bit too long and he looks like a fucking lumberjack in the shirt, these two are always so adorable together and would make one hell of a power couple.

In other news, La Tisdale-- with her fab hair (doesn't she look good as a brunette?), sexy outfit and runway-ready pose-- looks especially fierce in this photo. Do you know what would look even better in this photo, though?

Mmmhmm, much better.

Zac Efron + La Tisdale: A Beautiful Thing

My friend Jill ran across this clip on YouTube of Zac Efron's appearance on Disney's The Suite Life of Zach and Cody and she immediately sent it to me. Why, you ask? Because it contains the kiss I've dreamed about ever since High School Musical 2: Efron and La Tisdale. Finally, without the pesky Vanessa Anne Hudgens in the way, they have realized how perfect they are for each other. Plus, you get to experience the comedic firestorm that is Ashley Tisdale:

Zac: "Cry me a river."
La Tisdale: "If I did, you'd pollute it!"

Zac and Nikki: Match Made in Heaven?

I was flipping through some trashy tabloid a few days ago and I came across this article that said that Hairspray co-stars Zac Efron and Nikki Blonsky were a couple. At first, I was a little surprised by this announcement because for years Hollywood has pounded into my head that skinny white boys like Efron only date skinny white chicks like Lindsay Lohan or Hillary Duff, but now I'm totally in love with this relationship. We all know my dream couple and this is basically them except a few years younger and Nikki Blonsky just sings like a black girl. Unfortunately, there might be some problems in the future because of their different religious faiths: Zac is Jewish (I had no idea) and Nikki is some kind of Christian (Catholic I think, but don't quote me). Maybe they can overcome these differences because they like to talk about serious things like the war in Iraq and global warming, which Zac never could with his ex Vanessa Anne Hudgens (I'm not making this last part up---it was in that article).

Perfect On-screen Couple

Am I crazy for believing that Miss Jennifer Hudson and Jake Gyllenhaal would make a perfect on-screen couple? I've been thinking about it for a couple of weeks now, ever since watching "Grease: You're the One I Want" and casually mentioning that J. Hud and Jake would be perfect to play Sandy and Danny. But now the idea makes more and more sense. There's Jake with his looks of a model combined with a melt-your-heart boyish grin. And then there's J. Hud's down-to-earth mentality with a real woman's body. How could it fail? I imagine them in some quirky romantic comedy a la Annie Hall where Jake plays a shy, reserved guy (possibly with glasses) who moves to New York and J. Hud plays a plus-sized model who has the taste of a rich woman, but the bank account of a poor one. I wish someone with some power in Hollywood would get them together in a movie soon while they are both hot, hot, hot.
